Rev. Yolanda Valentin-Aviles met the Lord Jesus Christ in 1987.  Under the anointing and being lead by God, she started a prison minister in1990 and preached to the lost for over 10 years.

In 1991 Rev. Yolanda coordinated rallies and God brought revival to the streets during campaigns in New York.  Rev. Yolanda preached the gospel of Jesus to heavily drug infested neighborhoods and parks in the cruel streets of New York, and other cities alike under the gift of evangelism, and was used in healing and deliverance.  She began to feed the immeasurable word of God to a hungry community and founded Rescue Ministries Inc. The purpose of the ministry was to preach the word of God and feed the hungry, not only filling the spiritual, but also addressing the physical needs that were encountered.  Her experiences working in rehabilitation centers educated her with the different types of addictive and abusive behaviors; this gave her the cornerstones she needed to build a firm out reach ministry.

In 1996 Rescue Ministries Inc. opened its’ first church based Soup kitchens and Food pantries in Brooklyn, where needs were met at a steady location on a regular bases.

In March of 1999, God called Rev. Yolanda Valentin-Aviles, and she gave birth to what is now Rescue Ministries Church.   Rev. Valentin-Aviles and her husband Daniel Aviles started the church with 4 members, they have since moved 3 times due to the growth of the church and the second Food Pantry site.   Rev. Yolanda’s vision is to continue to work in the Kingdom while raising leaders that would go out into the nations to preach the word of God.  For God’s Glory and Honor Rev. Yolanda Valentin-Aviles is an International evangelist and has preached in countries such as Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru.  God has blessed and gifted her with the grace to raised leaders with the same passion for the Kingdom of God and have gone forth with her to these nations abroad.  Rescue Ministries Inc. is “Reaching soul for Jesus Christ”!

Acts 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
